About Me

My name is John Raphael A. Saavedra, 22 years old.
I am a college fresh graduate with a four-year degree in Bachelor of Science in Animation. I studied animation at iACADEMY, I am a Filipino born on May 22nd 1991 at Sta. Mesa Manila, Philippines, I am educated with the basic and advanced principles of 2D animation and 3D animation, this include the knowledge of traditional painting, digital painting, knowledge in anatomy, use of ToonBoom Animate Pro, Maya, Flash and Aftereffects.
I am currently focused in Concept Art and Character design in the field of Science Fiction (Sci-Fi).

In my last two semester in school attended an OJT at Komkasi, a Game Development studio and assigned me as on of their character designers, I am able provide what the director has asked me and provide most of the characters that were assign to us at that time. I worked there for six months, and in those six months I worked with two of their major projects with me appointed as a character designer under the surveillance of their resident lead artist, first project that I worked on is to design fairies, each has its own description and personality most of my works is accepted. Second is when they transferred me to my their second major project, an Android trading card game like Applibot's "Legend of Cryptids". Two categories of cards are given to me, first is the Demons and then, the Undead. This gave me the experience and knowledge in making card art in which I am still applying in most of my works.

I am also taking a few crash course of photography from a professional photographer which is also a close friend of mine.
